the sky has robbers
by Londeka Mdluli
We cracked the sky open and found window frames full of robbers lying in between the stars.
The dust settling like a pair of drunk lovers on a Friday night.
The sun and its coffee whispered,
”There is no theft here”.
But there are piles of brown bodies that only wish to look like us
and meteors disappearing one by one.
